Mary Blake

Mary Blake and Roger planned for a beautiful outdoor wedding, and when the day arrived we knew everything would be perfect. A preppy pallette of yellow, white, soft blue, and green blended with our setting “to the tee”!

Custom made runners, table numbers, and donation cards finished off the look of the tables.

Their yummy signature drink, Sun Bliss, captured the feeling of the day. Best of luck to you two!

Trinity

We always create such great relationships with our clients, and working with Trinity and Darin was definitely a highlight of our year. We worked together for a year to plan a beautiful, romantic summer wedding.

Darin couldn’t keep his eyes off his stunning bride during the ceremony, and we know he couldn’t wait until they recessed!

Their beautiful custom monogram was a special touch on all of the little details at the reception, from the placecards to the menu cards and gobo on the dance floor!

The newlyweds performed a spiced up version of their first dance – with a song medley that had snippets of everything from “My Girl” by the Temptations to En Vogue’s “My Lovin’ – Never Gonna Get it”!

The bridal party chipped in for a special departure – a bicycle driven carriage!

Trinity and Darin – We had a blast working with you both…keep in touch =)

Erica
Erica and James were such a fun loving couple, we enjoyed every minute of our time with them. Laid back and casual, they were looking for a sweet ceremony and a rocking reception!

A sand ceremony is such a nice touch to a summer wedding, and a great keepsake for years to come. We had to special order this set with the stopper so Erica and James could take it safely on the plane with them back to their home in Arizona!

With a beautiful view like this, you have to take advantage of the photo op!

About two hours into the reception Erica changed into this sassy short dress to dance the night away!

Erica and James, thank you for letting us be a part of your celebration. Best of luck to you both! =)

Kian

We had such a fabulous time working with Kian! She came to us with an idea to have a beautiful wedding in her backyard in Williamsburg, and it was definitely a perfect setting. She has such a classic and sophisticated taste, and we enjoyed finding ways to add special touches to the wedding day.

Kian decided she wanted to walk out of the house alone, and have her groom meet her at the end of the aisle, then they walked together to the officiant. It was so touching to see Don meet her and escort her down the aisle!

Kian’s favorite color – PINK! – was our backdrop for this beautiful backyard reception, then we added colorful flowers to make everything pop!

Guests took home delectable chocolate swans as favors…if they didn’t break into the bag before the end of the night!

Kian and Don – thank you so much for letting us be a part of your special day!

Lauren
The day we met Lauren we knew she was a classy and chic bride and that the wedding would be amazing! We worked with her long distance (Lauren lived in Philadelphia) and every time we got to see her it was such a treat, so when the wedding day finally arrived we could not have been more excited. All of the ladies stayed at a local bed and breakfast, and used the home to get ready the morning of the wedding. It was so nice to have everyone together to relax, laugh, and surround Lauren with love! With hair styled and makeup perfectly applied, Lauren was ready to meet her groom at the end of the aisle.

The reception had a French countryside theme, complete with French inspired food served family style!

Lauren and Mike wanted to bring local flavor to the wedding, so the guests took home scrumptious cookies from the Raleigh Tavern Bakery in Williamsburg.

Mike has a serious love for hot sauce, so Lauren had a suprise groom’s cake at the wedding with “Mike’s Insanity Sauce”. They even put little bottles of hot sauce in the guest’s gift bags at the hotel!

Lauren and Mike, thank you so much for letting us a be a part of your special day! We wish you the best!!!!

Carter
Have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE my job? If not, I LOVE MY JOB! =0) Several years ago, I had the pleasure of working with Carter’s family when her sister, Lindsay, got married….. so you can imagine how THRILLED I was when I got the call from Carter about her engagement. When I was working Lindsay’s wedding, I met Carter and John and I knew they had something special.

We had so much fun working with Carter and loved all of her ideas for the big day. Their color palate, brown and green, was HOTTTT, obviously, but the idea I loved the most was their decision to see each other prior to walking down the aisle. Now, I know to some brides this might not even be a consideration, but I honestly have never seen a more touching moment.

We placed Carter in the beautiful Tiffany Garden. With her gown fluffed, lips glossed and boquet in hand, we went to get John, her awaiting groom. John walked to meet his bride for the first time in private. No one around but the photographers to capture the moment. I, of course, was hiding and peeking to see what John’ reaction would be… Carter has been with John for 9 years and not once has she ever seen him cry (sorry, John)…. Let’s just say someone needed several tissues. OMG-sweetest thing EVER!

The ceremony was beautiful and reception a blast, we were so honored to be a part of Carter and John’s special day. Best wishes to you both!!!!

Tess
Tess and Jaryl are such an amazing couple! I knew the day I met them, their wedding was going to be a blast and it sure was just that! 300 of their closest friends and family gathered to join them on one of the most special days of their lives. It was the perfect sunny day for an oceanfront reception, which I have to say, was definitely taken advantage of for great outside pictures! We had such a blast working with Tess and Jaryl and all the great vendors who were involved! If you haven’t seen this fabulous wedding already from the blog of Keith Cephus, here are a few images from Tess and Jaryl’s wedding! So….. If you haven’t already seen the latest issue of Weddings Unveiled, I would encourage you to run as fast as you can to go get one! The magazine is filled with chic eye candy on every page. We are so incredibly honored to have Lindsay and Ashton’s wedding as one of their featured weddings! This wedding was completely over the top and I can’t even tell you how much fun I had with mom (she is now one of my adopted mom’s =)) planning the entire event! With Lindsay living in Australia and only coming home a few times, she really had to trust that all would come together as she envisioned and I know she was blown away that day! We certainly spent many hours on the phone and I miss those hours!
Every vendor who was involved did an absolute ROCKIN’ job! Kudo’s to all of you! I miss you LMO and I can’t wait to see ya in July!!!!! Beach house….here we come! =0)

Julie and Chris
Awwwwe! It was so nice to get back into wedding season ESPECIALLY when you have such fabulous clients! Julie and Chris were married in the beautiful Virginia Beach area. The rain tried to put a damper on things but it didn’t work! I met Julie and Chris at another wedding last year and when I got the phone call about the engagement, I was elated! =0) I had such a great time working with the two of them and I loved the centerpieces. The color palate consisted of turquoise, orange and a touch of fuchsia… SO VIBRANT! For several months, Julie collected several different types of glass vases for the guest tables and she filled them with tangerines and added a white spider mum for that final touch! Very unique and cost effective! Julie looked stunning and I loved those bridesmaids dressed. The day was filled with many laughs, great food, including a massive candy station, and lotsof dancing. Thank you to all of the fantastic vendors who were involved! You all rock! Best of luck to you, Julie and Chris, and keep in touch! =)
